Job Summary
Scotia are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking Calibration Technician to fill a full-time position within our Newcastle premises.
The successful candidate will be working within various Laboratories and be part of one of Scotland's premier Instrumentation businesses.
We pride ourselves on our high level of service which demands, quality, process efficiency and product innovation.
Skills and Experience
Essential Experience
- A Mechanical based apprenticeship.
- The use and understanding of Mechanical Instrumentation.
- Be able to work and contribute to a close-knit team.
- Be able to work with and use basic mathematical formulae.
Desirable Experience
- Calibration & Repair of a variety of Mechanical Instrumentation, e.g. Pressure Recorders, Pressure Gauges, PRV’s etc.
- Working in a Calibration Laboratory
- Hold a current and clean driving licence
